Class I Queen River, RI

Wood-Pawcatuck Watershed Wild and Scenic River (Headwaters in Exeter and West Greenwich, Rhode Island to Kingstown Road Bridge in South Kingstown, Rhode Island)

Route 138 to Pawctuck confluence from a depth and width standpoint is floatable. There are no public access points and many trees are down, obstructing the river. There is an impoundment (man-made dam and pond) along the river above Rt 138 that offers a nice paddle. (National Park Service, Wood-Pawcatuck Watershed Association) rivers.gov
