Wood-Pawcatuck Watershed Wild and Scenic River (South County Trail Bridge, Chalestown and South Kingstown, Rhode Island to Carolina Back Road Bridge in Richmond and Charlestown, Rhode Island)

This section of the Pawcatuck River includes passage through and around rock ramps and a horseshoe dam. There are also forest and wetland scenary. In the upper reaches you may be apt to run into challenging, rocky obstacles. (National Park Service, Wood-Pawcatuck Watershed Association)
