Class II-III South Fork Owyhee River, NV

Upper Owyhee- South Fork Pipeline to Idaho border (South Fork Pipeline Launch Site to The Nevada/Idaho State Line)

The South Fork Owyhee River boasts some of Northern Nevada's most remote and beautiful river views. Several multi-day trips can be taken along the Owyhee River, into Idaho and Oregon. Due to the area’s remoteness, the upper Owyhee River is not recommended for beginners. Although most of the upper Owyhee River is Class I, II and III, and whitewater and hazards can be seen well ahead of time, the upper Owyhee can be dangerous for those who are improperly equipped, inexperienced or careless.
