The San Francisco Bay Area Water Trail is a growing network of launch and landing sites, or “trailheads,” that encourage people in non-motorized small boats to safely enjoy the scenic, cultural, and ecological richness of the San Francisco Bay. With over 500-square miles of open water, rivers, and sloughs to explore, the waters of the Bay are the Bay Area’s largest open space. Whether you prefer a kayak, Sup, kiteboard, or outrigger, there are many amazing destinations to explore.
